SeaScapes is a four-year programme of focused activity, with projects taking place under four main themes, all aiming to boost visibility and shift the focus of individuals and communities to better understanding and protecting our oceans and coastline.
A series of events, engagement and interpretation is woven throughout to ensure we are meaningfully connecting as many people and communities to the seascape as possible.
Through the co-creation of projects with local communities, we have developed a diverse activity offer that will transcend built-natural-cultural heritage across the seascape. We will use innovative approaches, including creative arts, intergenerational teaching, and cutting-edge technologies to reach new audiences. Together, with local communities, we will write the next chapter for this special seascape – protecting, maintaining and respecting our coastline and seas.
