Join artist Rob Smith for the launch of his online artwork sound mirror at the site of the First World War sound mirror in Sunderland. Rob will lead a field walk to the sound mirror, and along the way he will share his artwork with the group, talk about the processes of its production and explore how digital technologies can offer new ways of being attentive to environments. Bring your mobile devices and headphones if you have them!

This event is suitable for people of all ages. The walk is approximately 1km to the sound mirror and back. The route is mainly on solid surfaces but some sections have steps and there may be some uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear for walking, and check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. The event will last for around 2 hours and we will be outside for most of the time.
