Are you aged 14-18, live in Sunderland or South Tyneside, love the coast & want to learn about marine life? Then join our summer school.
In this week-long summer school, you will be able to explore and discover the marine wildlife that live on our rocky shores and local seas.
We will visit a variety of local beaches and rocky shores, rockpool and dolphin watch, and learn about the different species that live in each habitat, discovering why they are unique and why they need protecting.
We will also learn about film-making and will design, shoot and make our own short film of rocky shore and underwater marine life, that will be used to raise environmental awareness amongst young people.
