Mag Lime Magic talk: the geological story of the Durham Coast and the Blast Beach.
East Durham Artist Network (edan), in collaboration with Professor Dave Roberts of Durham University are hosting a free, interactive, illustrated talk on the geology of the Durham coast, in particular the unique story of Seaham’s Blast Beach.
The talk will feature illustrations and art work from members of East Durham Artist Network and is part of a collaborative arts project between East Durham Artists’ Network, Durham University, Sunderland University, and Sunderland CoLab.
This project is funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the SeaScapes “Reading the Rocks” and “Sea AIR”.
