As part of the SeaScapes’ and Partners’ two days of fun at the end of February Half-Term, join us for a Beach Clean on Jackie’s Beach.

Join the SeaScapes’ Team with a beach clean after the winter storms on this beautiful but less well known beach in South Tyneside. Please meet in the car park at Souter Lighthouse for 9am before heading to the beaches for our litter picks.

All set on the backdrop of Souter Lighthouse and The Leas. This is a free event. Please feel free to participate in as much or little as you would like. This activity will be taking place outdoors. Please ensure that you have warm & dry clothing and suitable footwear.

Other activities happening later in the day include:

• 11:00 Whitburn Coastal Conservation Centre Opens – find inside stall holders, games and wave machine
• 11:10 – 12:40 Bird Walk (please meet outside Whitburn Coastal Conservation Centre)
• 12:00 – 13:00 Sports games (please meet in Foghorn Field)
• 13:30 – 14:30 Sport games (please meet in Foghorn Field)
• 15:00 Whitburn Coastal Conservation Centre closes

Souter Lighthouse is open but not part of this event and charges will apply to enter the Lighthouse. Café and toilets are available. Parking charges apply.
