Coastal Birds – an Introduction

Have you ever thought about giving bird watching a go? Then join us for a free introductory event where we’ll guide you through identification techniques, coastal species and habitats, bird conservation and populations, migration and birdsong.

Suitable both for beginners and those with a little knowledge.

We will be mostly outdoors, although we will also visit our bird hides too. So please wear warm and weather appropriate clothing and outdoor suitable footwear.

If you have binoculars please bring them, but don’t worry if you don’t own any as we will have some available for you to borrow too.

Booking is essential.

This event is organised by Durham Wildlife Trust and is being delivered in partnership with Natural England, who manage Teesmouth National Nature Reserve.
