Autumn arrives, and migrants with it’. While we can’t guarantee what we will see, waders like purple sandpiper, ringed plover, turnstone, knots, dunlin, curlew, oystercatcher and redshank will be sharing the billing alongside a range of passerines, wildfowl, seabirds, and lurking somewhere nearby, raptors.
That said, you never know when a rarity might show up…
Our experienced guides for the morning will be on hand, alongside Durham Wildlife Trust staff, to help point out and identify what we see.
If you have binoculars please bring them, we will have some available to borrow too.
This is an outdoor event, so please wear warm and weather appropriate clothing and outdoor suitable footwear.
Booking is essential.
