Join us for a walk and learn about the coastal birds that migrate to our Durham coast each summer.
We’re going for a morning bird walk, where we’ll see and learn about the shore and seabirds that visit our local Durham coast each summer. We’ll discuss where they’ve come from and why they migrate, and you’ll learn what to look out and listen for, and how to recognise different species.
Suitable both for beginners and those with a little knowledge.
This is an outdoor event so please weather appropriate clothing and comfortable, outdoor suitable footwear.
If you have binoculars please bring them, we will have some available to borrow too.
Booking is essential.
This event is being delivered in partnership with Durham Bird Club and Durham County Council, and is a SeaScapes Coastal Wildlife Group event, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
