Blackhall Rocks Summer at the Shore

The sun shone, the dolphins came to play, and fossils were found at the latest ‘Summer at the Shore’ series at Blackhall Rocks.

Once again Professor McGoogle and his trusty aids, Mallory and her mum, led the Coastal Time Detective Team to discover millions of years of history beneath our feet in the form of stones, rocks, coal and creatures.

When not being detectives, everyone helped create a giant octopus from white pebbles found on the beach.

If you would like to join the Coastal Time Detective Team, or be part of a beach art activity, they will be at Blast Beach on Sunday 1 August from 2:30 – 5pm.

Thank you to our friends at https://www.thebarnateasington.co.uk/ for running Summer at the Shore for us.
