Intertidal Interactive (Durham Wildlife Trust)

As the Education Projects Officer for Durham Wildlife Trust, I have a passion for outdoor learning and sharing the wonders of our world with the people who will inherit it – our future generations. My background in learning includes forest school accreditation, primary school teacher and some guest lecturing at local Universities but while my focus is on learning, my love is for nature, making this role ideal.

The hands-on nature of outdoor learning allows for the joy of witnessing the ‘wow’ moments where someone develops their understanding of their world around them, because they are in positive contact with it. It really is a privilege.

In facilitating a wide range learning opportunities through Seascapes, I’m looking forward to helping people to understand and access the infinite joy that our coastline offers but also to understand the need to nurture and protect it.
