Having spent my childhood living in Asia, the Middle East, Whitley Bay and rural Northumberland, I love exploring my surroundings. My curiosity of the natural world led to studying Environmental Science and Geography, and my interest in global communities led to a post-grad degree in Anthropology.

Combining my education and interests I became a Geography teacher, however, while volunteering for local environmental and conservation organisations, I discovered that my calling was teaching outside the classroom, and not just working with teenagers, but people of all ages.

So, I am really excited to be delivering the SeaScapes Intertidal Interactive Project and providing opportunities for local communities to engage with their coastal wildlife, heritage and natural surroundings.
