Come and drop into the EDAN gallery and explore some of the wreck sites beneath the waves of the North East Coast.

Seascapes’ Beneath the Waves project has worked with local divers to survey some of the many shipwrecks along the North East coast. In the gallery you can use our ipads to explore this hidden heritage, find the locations of these wrecks and view 3D models of these fascinating sites.

The  free seascapes mobile phone app enables you to learn more about the Tyne to Tees coast. Once the app is loaded on your mobile phone, the app will ping the phone at key locations along the coast. At each location, the initial screen will tell you about the place and its point of interest, from which you can do a deeper dive into the information.
